Charlton’s woes continued with a seventh defeat in eight League 1 games at the hands of Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.

The Addicks slipped to 13th and 13 points off the play-off pace after a second successive London derby loss.

Jon Nurse opened the scoring for the hosts on 33 minutes with a low drive from the edge of the box.

Danny Green made it 2-0 10 minutes into the second half, slamming in Damian Scannell’s pull-back and despite Frank Nouble pulling one back from close range two minutes into stoppage time, it was too late for the Addicks.
