Two primary school pupils are set to follow in the footsteps of a Disney princess and a Jedi after securing places at a prestigious performing arts school.
Miley Jackson, aged 11 from Dartford, and Mila Kliewe, also 11 from Bromley, will be heading to Hertfordshire this autumn to study at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
The pair currently divide their time between their school work and their rigorous dance and ballet training at the Woodside School of Ballet in West Kingsdown.
Miley is a student at Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School in Chatsworth Road, Dartford and has performed in both the English Youth Ballet and National Youth Ballet.
The twinkled toed star discovered her love of dance after joining Babyballet classes and went on to perform in her first-ever show aged just five.
She has been honing her pirouette at ballet school but will now be stepping up to her biggest recital yet when she takes up a place at the illustrious Tring Park School next term.
The prestigious dance school counts such gifted alumni among its ranks as Disney's Cinderella Lily James and Daisy Ridley, best known for playing Star War's Rey Skywalker.
Miley said: "I'm so excited to start at Tring. I really loved it when I looked around and went for auditions. Everyone is so friendly and confident and I can't wait to join them!"
Her parents were equally excited, with mum Amy expressing her immense pride at her daughter's achievements to date.
She said: "We're incredibly proud of Miley. She decided two or three years ago that she wanted to go to vocational school and has worked very hard to get there.
"She's a natural performer and we're very excited to see what the future holds for her at Tring."
Joining Miley at Tring Park is 11-year-old Mila, from Bromley, who trained alongside her at the Woodside School of Ballet, near Dartford.
Mila found her passion for dance at the tender age of three when her parents took her to first ballet class and it has been her happy place ever since.
"She's a natural performer and we're very excited to see what the future holds for her at Tring."
The pair will take up their places at the prestigious day and boarding school for students aged 8 to 19 this autumn.
Alongside a broad academic curriculum, the school offers courses in dance, acting and musical theatre to learners up to the age of 16.
Sixth Form students are able to study Acting, Musical Theatre and Commercial Music up to age 18 alongside A levels, while dancers can take a three-year course, graduating at age 19.
Graduates have gone on to have star studded careers on both the big screen and Broadway.
