Dartford climbed to their highest Blue Square Bet South position of the season with a win over Basingstoke Town at Princes Park on Tuesday night.
The victory saw Darts make it one defeat in 10 league games and rise to 13th.
Jon Main and Elliot Bradbrook saw first-half drives saved by Chay Morris while Andy Young kept Darts level with a good save at the other end.
Darts pressed forward after the break and the only goal arrived 25 minutes from time when Lee Noble’s shot was fumbled onto the crossbar by Morris before rebounding into the net off the chest of defender Callum Reynolds.
Darts boss Tony Burman (pictured) said: "We stuck at it and got what we deserved.
"Basingstoke came and played with a high tempo in the first half but in the second half we took control and we were the ones going for the game.
"The goal was a bit fortunate but we’ve had our share of bad luck this season."
