Dartford suffered a third successive defeat in the Blue Square Bet South after losing at home to Chelmsford.
The Darts were back on home soil for the first time since November 11 and went a goal up early in the second half through Carl Rook (pictured).
On 58 minutes Chelmford levelled through Billy Bricknell and seven minutes later Robert Edmans scored what turned out to be the winner.
Dartford ended the day sitting 19th in the table - just three points off the bottom three.
To add to Dartford’s woes they look set to lose Tom Champion for several weeks after the player needed 30 stitches in a head wound picked up in the game.
