Champions Dartford settled for a point, despite twice going ahead at home to play-off chasing Aveley on Saturday.
Tony Burman's side looked good for yet another win at Princes Park thanks to goals from Rob Howarth and Billy Burgess.
Howarth put the newly crowned Ryman League champions ahead on 11 minutes as he headed in a Ryan Hayes cross. But, just two minutes a free kick saw Aveley equalise through Ryan Edgar.
Billy Burgess showed a bit of improvisation to put the Darts back in front on 37 minutes. He finished off a well placed cross with a close range overhead kick.
But, the record crowd of 2,162 were denied another three points from a spectacular season as the visitors drew level once again on 83 minutes thanks to Sherwin Stanley's cool finish.
