Ryan Hayes’ stoppage time penalty ensured Dartford held Blue Square Bet South favourites Havant & Waterlooville to a 2-2 draw at Princes Park on Saturday.
The Ryman League champions went in front in the 26th minute when Hayes’ free-kick was headed in by Danny Harris.
But Havant made sure the teams went in level when Bobby Hopkinson converted a penalty just before the break after Hayes had handled the ball in the box.
Wes Fogden thought he had given the visitors the points when he was on target two minutes before full-time.
But during a dramatic finale Harris was brought down in the penalty area in injury time.
Hayes held his nerve to calmly step up and slot the ball home to give his side a share of the points.
