Dartford made it four wins from six games and remain unbeaten in Blue Square Bet South following a 3-1 Bank Holiday Monday win over Bromley at Princes Park.
An early Ryan Hayes corner was saved by Dean Santangelo, but the Darts were ahead on seven minutes when Elliot Bradbrook latched onto Charlie Sheringham's flick to lash into the top corner.
Another Hayes set-piece almost produced a second for Dartford, while Jon Wallis' free-kick was deflected onto the bar and over.
Keeper Andy Young kept Dartford ahead with a smart block, while Adam Green fired over at the other end before the break and after the break Sheringham (pictured) nodded Green's cross to Wallis who was only denied by a last-ditch challenge.
Tom Bonner saw a shot blocked on the line after Paul Goodacre nodded down a corner and Richard Graham bent a shot wide before Sheringham struck the post with Santangelo out of position.
The visitors levelled 25 minutes from time against the run of play with a low drive from Danny Waldren, but Goodacre headed against the bar from a Hayes corner soon after and eight minutes from time Hayes was hauled down in the box allowing Sheringham to fire in from the spot.
The points were made safe two minutes later when substitute Danny Harris bundled home Lee Noble's free-kick from close range to the delight of the majority of the 1,550 crowd, who saw Darts stay third, two points behind leaders Welling.
