Dartford have signed striker Jason Prior on a month’s loan from AFC Wimbledon.
The 24-year-old, pictured, goes straight into the Darts squad for Tuesday's Blue Square Bet Premier clash with struggling Barrow at Princes Park.
Prior has been plagued by injuries since joining Wimbledon in January 2012. He suffered knee damage on his debut for the League 2 club and then broke his leg last April.
He returned to action on December 29 but has been restricted to four appearances, all from the bench, for Neal Ardley’s side this season.
Prior’s arrival follows the return of Harry Crawford to Barnet last week after a month on loan. Such is the fixture congestion for Tony Burman’s side he could play as many as 10 league games during his stay in north Kent.
Having played for Newbury and Moneyfields earlier in his career, Prior made a name for himself at Bognor Regis Town, where he scored 95 goals in 121 appearances.
During his time with the Rocks he hit a hat-trick against Dartford and his form for the West Sussex club earned him a trial at Newcastle United, before he eventually joined Wimbledon on a two-and-a half-year deal.
