Dartford face another testing road trip this weekend as they look to put an end to their poor away form.
Saturday’s game at Southport offers the Darts their latest opportunity to end their travel sickness in Blue Square Bet Premier.
Not since their 2-0 win at Luton on November 10 have the Darts picked up a league victory away from Princes Park.
Tony Burman’s side have lost seven of their last nine away fixtures but the Dartford boss, pictured, insists their form has not completely deserted them.
He said: "It will come back. In some of those games we’ve been unfortunate. It doesn’t need drastic changes. The lads have been brilliant. They’re enjoying it, I’m enjoying it."
Dartford let two points slip when Southport visited Princes Park in November. Two Elliot Bradbrook goals had given the home side a 2-1 lead but the Sandgrounders won a point courtesy of Karl Ledsham’s 90th-minute strike.
This weekend’s game precedes a run of three consecutive home fixtures for Dartford. Lee Noble misses the trip to Southport as he continues to serve the four-game ban for being sent off twice this season.
