Dartford boss Tony Burman has paid tribute to his Welling counterpart Jamie Day ahead of Sunday's Blue Square Bet South final.
Former Darts midfielder Day (pictured), who left the club to return to Welling as their player/manager in November 2009, remains good friends with Burman.
"We brought Jamie back from Grays and he helped us become a little bit more professional on the training ground because he was always the last one out there working hard," said Burman.
"I don’t want him coming back to be the be-all and end-all of everything, though.
"Welling are a decent side and he has got them playing well."
Day, who remains close friends with Burman, said: "With our two teams being so closely matched in the league, we haven't spoken as much of late as normal.
"But it will be good to see Tony on Sunday and I'm sure we will share a beer afterwards."
