Dartford chairman Dave Skinner has claimed the last month has pushed the club to their limits but spoke with pride of their run to the FA Trophy semi-finals.
Home games against non-league giants Luton and Grimsby were segregated and required substantial organisation by all at Princes Park.
And those matches followed hot on the heels of the England C international against Turkey which brought in the stadium’s biggest crowd of the season.
More than 7,000 fans flocked through the turnstiles to watch the three games, which underlined the administrative challenge facing the Darts at the top of the non-league pyramid.
Mr Skinner (pictured) said: "It probably pushed us to the limits of what we can handle. We knew it was going to be a learning curve and we’re learning with every big game, making little improvements.
"We got great feedback from the FA. They were pleased with how we organised everything. The fans from Luton and Grimsby have gone away thinking what a nice ground this is."
Dartford missed out on a trip to Wembley when Grimsby ended their FA Trophy run with a 3-0 aggregate win at the semi-final stage. The club earned £26,000 in prize money for their Trophy exploits, having crashed out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle earlier in the season.
