Defender Tom Bonner believes Dartford’s big-game experience will stand them in good stead when they look to take a step closer to Wembley on Saturday.
The Darts have been handed a tricky FA Trophy quarter-final clash at Blue Square Bet North promotion hopefuls FC Halifax Town.
While the tie represents a voyage into the unknown for Tony Burman’s side, they have already tamed fiercer opponents on the road this season.
Wins at Cambridge United, Grimsby and Luton, as well as a 2-2 draw at the home of Blue Square Bet Premier high-fliers Wrexham, have filled Bonner and his team-mates with belief.
The 24-year-old said: "We’ve been doing well away from home against the big teams. We’re confident going into the game and we’ll treat it like we were playing Luton or Grimsby.
"We know it’s difficult for the away team, so we’ll need to be right on our game and take any chances that come our way.
"We haven’t played them but know what to expect. They’re only one division below us and we certainly won’t take them for granted."
