Dartford face a big test of their credentials on Saturday when they travel to Ryman League Premier Division pre-season title favourites Carshalton.
The Darts then follow this up with a visit to Sutton, another fancied side, on Tuesday.
Carshalton have appointed former Crawley boss Francis Vines as managerial successor to Hayden Bird who quit two weeks ago.
And Darts manager Tony Burman believes the two games will tell them a lot about themselves.
He said: "I’m aware that Carshalton have a new manager and there is always a reaction among players when a new man takes charge.
"After Carshalton we go to Sutton, but I believe we have the strength in depth to cope with two big games coming in quick succession."
Burman is hoping that Danny Dafter will be fit – the midfielder sustained a calf injury in training last Thursday.
"Danny’s injury forced me into making one of three changes on Saturday," Burman added. "The thing is that we coped. Maybe last season we would not have.
"James White returned to the side and he was excellent. Any successful side possesses strength and depth and we’ve got that."
