Dartford return to home soil this weekend aiming to get back on track following a disappointing trip to the north east.
First team coach Steve Mosely believes home form is going to be vital this season as the Darts look to acclimatise to life at the top end of non-league football.
The Darts have won their last three Blue Square Bet Premier games on home soil, beating Newport (2-1), Alfreton (5-1) and Kidderminster (1-0) and will hope to continue this form against Hereford United on Saturday.
Mosely said: "The support for us away from home has been great but here at home it is easier for us to prepare than some of the away games.
"We need to make the most of it and make Princes Park into a bit of a fortress and to make it difficult for teams to come down here.
"Hopefully we’re going to get plenty of three points here.
"Saturday is another tough game for us but it’s a home game and one we are looking forward to. A couple of years ago we wouldn’t have imagined playing these kind of teams."
The Darts are close to seeing several injured players return to the squad but Mosely admits this weekend could come too soon for them.
"Louis Wells and Adam Green did some light training on Monday but it could be a week too early for them. We will have to have a look at Danny Harris (pictured) on Thursday."
