Friends Carly Wiggett (left) and Becky Witt have won more than £336,000
A EuroMillions lottery win of more than £336,000 was written in the stars for two best friends.
Carly Wiggett, 23, and 24-year-old Becky Witt, who have been best friends since secondary school, claimed their prize after the draw last Friday.
They shared the good news - and a glimpse at the cheque for £336,277.60 - at a photocall at the Hilton Dartford Bridge Hotel today.
Both women live in Dartford and are PCSOs in Lambeth.
They became best friends when they started secondary school in Dartford and quickly became inseparable.
The pair have enjoyed many memorable moments together - but none quite as life-changing as their EuroMillions win, which they discovered as they were getting ready for a Friday night out after buying the ticket online.
The amazing windfall came about after Carly's mother read the lucky duo's star signs in a daily paper's horoscope, which suggested they could be in for a win if they played together.
They share a lift to and from work and on their way home on Thursday, laughed about Carly's mother's advice - but picked some numbers for the following night's EuroMillions.
They joked about winning - and how they might celebrate, but never dreamed it would come true.
Carly said: "When my mum told me about the horoscope in the paper we both thought it was a bit of fun and thought, 'why not?'
"We chose one line with important dates and another made up of numbers that came into our heads. I kept forgetting to buy a ticket and Becky kept nagging me to say we ought to listen to the stars, so it wasn't until the Friday evening as we were driving home with Becky that I finally bought the tickets online.
"One of our friends, Duncan, who was also in the car asked me to buy him a lucky dip, which I did, sending a screen shot of the page to him so he had his details.
"We then got home and I thought no more about it, getting ready to go out with Becky later on."
It was while she was putting the finishing touches to her make-up that Carly got a message from Duncan urging her to check the EuroMillions numbers, which he could see on the screenshot Carly had sent him earlier.
At first, Carly thought it was a wind-up, and didn't take the message seriously because she thought the draw was later in the evening.
But she asked her sister to check the draw, just in case.
She said: "My sister pulled up the numbers on a strange website and I saw that they matched, but because it wasn't the official site, I still wasn't sure.
"Then Duncan text again and said we really had won with five numbers and one Lucky Star.

"At this point, it started to sink in that we might just have won. I rang Becky and told her she better come round - now!"
By the time Becky arrived, it was 10.30pm and the win was confirmed. There were lots of tears, screaming and laughter for the girls and their family, and a very good night out for the pair who are now £168,138.80 each better off.
Both Carly and Becky still live at home with their parents and plan to put some of the money towards their own homes.
Still reeling from the win, there are no plans for decadent treats for themselves, although a girls' holiday might be on the cards.
Carly said: "Since we met at secondary school we have shared just about everything from holidays, college life and now even our careers; we are so close.
"To win EuroMillions with your best friend couldn't be better, it's just amazing we can share this experience together.
"I've decided Becky is my lucky charm - last time I won anything was £500 on a game of bingo when we were on holiday together in Norfolk!"
Dartford is the third luckiest area in the UK in the National Lottery, with prizes adding up to more than £132 million since 1994.
