About 800 runners are set to compete in the 36th Dartford Half-Marathon on Sunday.
The challenging rural race – incorporating a round of the Kent Grand Prix Series – will start at 9am in Central Park and follow the Darenth Valley south from Dartford, returning via Green Street.
There will also be a four-lap fun-run around the Central Park track, starting at 9.15am.
It’s open to runners of all ages, with the £3 entry fee donated to Cancer Research – the official charity of the half-marathon.
A memento will be awarded to fun-run finishers.
Harriers would like to thank all the sponsors and volunteers.
Harriers’ press officer Rosemary Champion said: “Their combined support helps the Harriers to offer coaching and competition to athletes of all ages and abilities in road-running and track and field.”
