Dartford manager Tony Burman says their improvement in form is down to a new air of confidence at the club.
Their upturn in fortunes continued with a superb win over Blue Square Bet South leaders Braintree on Tuesday which lifted them four points above the drop zone.
They have won three in a row in Blue Square Bet South and go six unbeaten in all competitions.
He said: "There has been no magic wand, we have just come out with a more positive attitude recently. It’s nice to go into games on a high, the players are relaxing and playing with confidence.
"There was too much negativity around and everyone has responded to that, including the supporters."
Darts face a trip to Gateshead in the FA Trophy last 16 on Saturday,without York striker George Purcell who has joined Eastbourne Borough on loan.
Burman said: "League form will be irrelevant on Saturday, we go there as underdogs as they are a good side. We’ll enjoy ourselves, give it our best and if we can get a replay then that would be fantastic."
The Darts boss admitted he was ‘dreading’ the prospect of his players racking up 1,000 motorway miles combined on Saturday’s trip and Tuesday’s league game at Weston.
Billy Burgess (flu) could return on Saturday but Lee Burns (hamstring) and Adam Burchell (knee) remain out.
