Dartford boss Tony Burman is waiting to find out how long goalkeeper Louis Wells will be sidelined.
Wells missed the 2-0 defeat at Macclesfield on Saturday with a hip injury and his place was taken by young Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli, who has joined the club on loan.
Burman, pictured, is anxious to learn where he stands with Wells but has thanked Fulham for making the one-month Bettinelli deal possible.
He said: "We’re hoping for news on Louis this week. Hopefully he won’t be out any longer than a month but we just don’t know at the moment.
"I’d spoken to Fulham about goalkeepers in the summer so once we knew about Louis, I put a call in. They came back with Marcus and we just about registered him in time to play at Macclesfield.
"Fulham want him to have games and have been kind enough to do a deal on his wages that is good for us."
Darts go in search of their first Blue Square Bet Premier points when they take on Kidderminster Harriers – the only side below them in the fledgling league table – at Princes Park on Saturday.
That is followed by a trip to Cambridge United on Bank Holiday Monday.
