Dartford boss Tony Burman is keeping his feet on the ground, despite his side's run of five wins in six matches.

Burman said survival was still the aim of the game, claiming there was a long way to go and a lot of points to pick up.

"There are so many big clubs lurking behind us and that keeps us on our toes," he said. "You can win two or three games in this league but you can easily lose the next two or three even if you play well – so we’re not getting carried away."

Part-time Dartford are the form team in a division packed with former Football League clubs including Wrexham, who Burman’s side visit on Saturday.

The Welshmen are fourth and desperate to return to League 2 after missing out in the play-offs last year.

It will be a big test but Burman insisted there is no pressure on his side.

He said: "It’s a fantastic feeling for us just to be going to a massive club like Wrexham on a level playing field. When you think where we were a few years ago, it’s a terrific achievement for the football club."
