Dartford boss Tony Burman has welcomed his side’s flying start to the Blue Square Bet South season but says it’s important to maintain momentum through the next week.
Darts beat Eastbourne Borough at Princes Park on Tuesday and now host Hampton & Richmond – who have lost their two games – on Saturday before visiting Dover on Tuesday.
Burman is keen to keep the momentum going as the games come thick and fast.
He said: "We’ve deserved to win both our games. We have had two good results and we’ll look to keep it going.
"We have six games in the first two weeks of the season before it settles down a bit. It’s important to get off to a good start and we want to at least get into double figures from those first six games."
"It’s a nice start but there’s a long way to go. Dover on Tuesday is a big game and they are the sort of games you want to be involved in.
"After winning last year, they’ll probably come out all guns blazing. We have a couple of players who have been there and I’m sure none of the players will struggle to get up for it."
Ex-White James Rogers (illness) could play some part on Saturday while another former Dover man Jack Pallen (hamstring) remains a week away from action.
