Drivers attempting to head into the county faced delays following a crash on the approach to the Dartford Bridge.

Traffic was temporarily held on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 1A and junction 31 on the Essex side.

The incident was reported shortly before 9am.

Police and traffic officers were called to the scene of the crash.

All lanes had reopened by 10am, and congestion cleared shortly afterwards.
