Traffic backed up on the M25 after an accident this evening.

One lane was blocked, after the three-vehicle collision which caused delays.

It happened at about 5.15pm between junctions 3 anti-clockwise, for the Swanley interchange M20 and A20, and junction 2 for the Darenth interchange.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 5.13pm on Saturday 11 November 2017 to reports of a collision involving three vehicles on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junctions 3 and 2.

"Officers are at the scene and no injuries have been reported. The carriageway has now fully reopened."
