Heavy traffic has been building at the Dartford Crossing after a lorry got stuck in the entrance to one of the tunnels.

The HGV is understood to have tried to enter the wrong tunnel this afternoon, leading to delays for road users.

Congestion began to build at just before 1pm at the Dartford tunnel.

Kent Highways said it led to heavy traffic on the M25 anticlockwise, with queues snaking back to J1b for Dartford.
