Lengthy delays have cleared after an earlier crash involving two lorries.

Police were called at 10.20am after the HGVs collided on the soutbound carriageway of the A282 near Dartford.

The road was closed between the A206 and the A296 but has since reopened.

It is not clear if anyone was injured.

Long delays were reported heading into Kent from Essex, but traffic has since returned to normal.

Kent Police spokesman Vicki Foster said no injuries were reported and the vehicles were recovered by 11.25am.
