DELAYS are expected at the Dartford crossing this weekend while work takes place on the QEII Bridge.

The bridge will be closed from 8pm on Saturday to 10am on Sunday while maintenance is carried out on its expansion joints.

Southbound traffic will be diverted through the east tunnel, while northbound traffic heading to Essex will be cut to two lanes in the west tunnel.
