Traffic was delayed this morning after a crash flipped a car onto its side on the A2 near Bluewater.

The Vauxhall Corsa, which had collided with a lorry, came to a stop in the fast lane of the Londonbound carriageway at the Bean junction at about 5.40am.

Police partially closed the road while firefighters helped to right and then recover the vehicle, reopening the carriageway at about 7am.

The Corsa driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Darent Valley Hospital but nobody else was hurt.
