Drivers are facing long delays on the M25 following a crash in the Dartford Tunnel.

National Highways closed the west tunnel following the collision, which happened at around 3.20pm.

It reopened at around 5.22pm.

Emergency services and traffic officers were called and traffic was diverted down the east tunnel.

There was two and half miles of congestion reported on the northbound carriageway approaching the crossing.
