Discoboy Lee Marshall puts a smile on the face of shoppers at Asda Greenhithe

Discoboy Lee Marshall brought his unique brand of dance to Asda Greenhithe on Monday night.

Despite being hit with a £400 fine for a similar performance in the supermarket’s Huddersfield store last month, Marshall showed no signs of holding back as two friends joined him for another public rave.

The trio jumped onto the tills and grooved their way up the escalators before a security guard waved them out, with shoppers keen to capture the routine on their phones.

Marshall was grateful to the guard for being “a good sport” and thanked the team at the store for allowing him to perform. He admitted that he had earlier tried a Waitrose store but that they “were having none of it”.

He and his dance partners have received rave reviews on social media, despite the chance of another fine on the horizon.

Simon Shackson wrote: “Honestly fella you are too funny!! Great to see the store take this in the humour it is meant.”

An employee at the Greenhithe store, Dan Ayling, posted on Marshall’s Facebook page: “Thanks for last night enjoyed my shift top bloke.”

Others praised the store’s employees for “not spoiling the fun” and allowing Marshall to “spread the joy”.

A video of the routine on the Discoboy Facebook page has already been viewed more than 21,000 times.
