Discount retailer B&M is advertising jobs for its new Kent store.
The popular chain plans to open in the former Homebase in Princes Road, Dartford.
It announced earlier this week it hopes to welcome customers from Saturday, November 27, in time for Christmas shoppers.
And now it has started to look for staff.
The new store manager posted online: "We are currently working alongside the job centre to recruit for the store as we have plenty of vacancies mostly part time. I’m sure you all have many questions about shifts etc but it is still early days and I will know more about things nearer the time but we do have night and day shifts to cover."
An advert on B&M's website says the brand is looking for assistants "to join our brand new team for our store opening in Dartford. These are part-time positions, with flexible shift patterns, in our customer service, replenishment or shop floor departments."
Employees get 10% discount from week one, with double discount days through the year.
The closing date for applications is October 12.
Current use of the location is restricted to a DIY store but B&M has submitted plans to Dartford council for a change of use to "permit the display and sale of a wider range of goods".
If approved, the store would stock wine, beer, baby food and pet food as well as a huge range of budget-friendly health and beauty buys, toys, games, electricals, gifts, DIY products, and homeware.
