A drive-in cinema is returning to Bluewater for its winter open-air experience.
The Luna Cinema will bring a whole month of festive favourites to the big screen this December.
Bluewater is one of just four venues to host the company for its winter season.
The programme features Love Actually, It's a Wonderful Life, Home Alone, The Santa Clause, and Elf.
Luna uses wireless in-car speaker boxes to provide audio to every car, which avoids the battery draining through the use of car radios.
There will also be a range of food and drink available, with cinema staples like popcorn, hot food, and festive treats such as mince pies.
Cinema-goers can also grab a mug of hot chocolate or mulled wine, and are free to bring their own snacks, although the bringing of alcohol to the events is restricted.
The Luna Cinema was founded by George Wood in 2008 with a showing of Some Like It Hot at Dulwich Park in South London. This year the company will provide more than 150 open-air screenings to more than 40 locations across the UK.
About the return to Bluewater, George Wood said: “There’s quite simply nothing like watching your favourite festive film to bring on that Christmas feeling. Everyone has their favourite title – each year I always say I don’t feel like it’s Christmas until I’ve watched Home Alone!
"We couldn’t be more excited to announce this year’s Luna winter season, with both drive-in and indoor screenings taking place at some of our favourite venues across the country.
"The programmes playing in Kent represents the ultimate line up of Christmas classics, accompanied by stunning winter themed backdrops and all the festive food and drink you can imagine - we have no doubt this year is set to be the best winter season yet!”
