Driver dead after M20 collision

A MAN has died after a crash between a car and a lorry on the M20 near Brands Hatch.

The collision happened at about 5:20am on the London-bound carriageway of the motorway between junctions one and two.

Two vehicles were involved - a foreign-registered lorry and a foreign-registered car.

The man driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger was taken to Queen Mary's Hospital, in Sidcup, with serious injuries.

Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them.
