A lorry driver has died following a road smash on the M20 near Swanley.
His HGV overturned in a collision with a car on the motorway's London-bound carriageway between junctions two and one at about 3.35pm yesterday.
Police said he was in his 50s and did not live locally.
The car is also thought to have rolled several times, but its driver, a 19-year-old woman, escaped largely unharmed and was taken to Darent Valley Hospital as a precaution.
It is reported the two vehicles left the cariageway and careered into a field.
The London-bound M20 was closed at junction three following the crash, and traffic diverted via the M26. The road re-opened about eight hours later, at midnight.
