Motorists are being warned to allow extra time for their journeys as the World Superbike Championship begins at Brands Hatch.
The event, which began on Friday morning finishes on Sunday.
Tens of thousands of spectators are expected, many on motorbikes.
The Highways Agency has warned of possibly delays on major routes around the track including the M20, M25 and A2.
Special arrangements are being made for motorcyclists heading northbound at the end of the event on Sunday when a dedicated motorcycle lane will be created at the Dartford Crossing between 4pm and 7pm.
Riders wishing to use the lane should approach the plaze in the far right hand lane in order to be filtered into the coned off section safely.
