The right-hand Dartford tunnel has reopened after emergency repairs to the road surface were carried out.

The closure came just hours after the tunnel reopened this morning following earlier roadworks.

Two lanes were closed and traffic was slow due to the repairs on the M25 at the Dartford Tunnel anticlockwise between J1A for the A282 and Swanscombe and J31 for West Thurrock.

All lanes reopened just after midday.
