Firefighters have been called to a house blaze this evening as a road has been blocked off.

Several fire engines are at the scene in East Hill, Dartford, at the junction with St Albans Road.

Crews were seen putting up a ladder leading up to the home while part of the road has been cordoned off.

Traffic reporting service says: “The A226 East Hill both ways is blocked due to a building fire from St Alban's Road to Brandon Road."

The fire service has been contacted for more information.
