Part of a hospital was evacuated after smoke was seen coming from it.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of smoke in the day care centre at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford at around 4.40pm

Eight fire engines and a height vehicle attended, but following a search, no fire was found and crews left the hospital grounds at 6.54pm.

Darent Valley Hospital has been approached for comment.
