A woman has suffered serious injuries in a motorway crash this afternoon.

Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to a multi-vehicle motorway crash, which happened just after 2.40pm on the M20 westbound link to the M25 near Swanley.

Drivers were warned to expect delays following the crash.

Kent Police said officers were called to the scene alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service, and that the injured woman will be taken to hospital in London for treatment.
