TEN firefighters were called to a family home after flames were spotted leaping from the roof.
The blaze in the loft at Brent Way, Dartford, happened on Sunday at around 9.30pm.
Two Dartford fire crews were called to the scene where they spent about an hour and half putting out the blaze and dampening down the flames.
Much of the roof was destroyed along with the family's upstairs bathroom.
Firefighters put a sheet across the hole in the roof to prevent rain getting in overnight.
No one was injured although an ambulance was called.
