Former JLS boy band singer Oritse Williams helped spread news of a gym extension that has opened at Crayford Retail Park.
And he wasn’t the only familiar face at the opening – former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye also turned up to work up a sweat as did Britain’s strongest man competitor Jay Hughes.
The new facility, which effectively creates two gyms in one, is part of Crayford Weights & Fitness, which opened five years ago at Tower Park Road.
It is owned jointly by Paul Knight, from Medway, and Lawrence Killick, who grew up in Dartford.
Gym manager Sharon Douglas said: “This is a wonderful new extension to an already highly popular gym.
“The new facility will have some 13 new classes with personal trainers.
“It’s a fully functional high intensity training gym with battle ropes, tyres and brand new ninja wall.”
