Dartford are still searching for a first win in Blue Square Bet South after a 2-1 defeat at Farnborough.
Former Gillingham midfielder Dean McDonald scored either side of half time to condone Tony Burman's side to a second defeat of the season.
McDonald put the hosts ahead after just 12 minutes with a sweetly struck half volley from around 20 yards out. Former Ebbsfleet man Keze Ibe almost double the home side's advantage on 20 minutes, but glanced a header wide from six yards out.
Elliot Bradbrook almost levelled for the Darts after the break, but was denied by the Farnborough keeper when put through on goal.
McDonald grabbed his second of the afternoon from the penalty spot on 67 minutes. Ibe was brought down in the area by Dartford keeper Andy Young as he tried to round off a perfect through ball from McDonald.
Lee Noble did pull a goal back for the visitors in stoppage time after heading in Carl Rook's flick-on, but it was too late to give the Darts a chance to find an equaliser.
