Firefighters on the scene in Dartford as blaze breaks out at Pearson Way processing plant

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a Dartford processing plant this morning.

Two fire engines were called to the plant in Pearson Way shortly after 8am, with the flames found in an on-site metal hopper.

Crews equipped with breathing apparatus used a main jet and a hose reel to bring the fire under control. It was extinguished at just before 8.45am.
