Fire crews have fought a blaze at woodland.
Flames spread across 100 square metres of woodland and undergrowth off Summerhouse Drive, Joydens Wood.
Three fire engines and an all-terrain vehicle were called to the scene and crews used beaters to put out the blaze.
Crews were alerted just before midday and were at the scene until around 6.20pm.
Firefighters renewed their appeal to the public to avoid starting camp fires and bonfires in woodland areas and to take extra care when disposing of cigarette ends to help prevent fires.
If anyone spots a fire in the countryside, they are asked to report it as soon as possible, giving as much detail about the location as possible, so that it can be dealt with before it spreads.
Information about arson and those responsible can be reported to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
