Fire crews battled a blaze at a house last night.
Friefighters fought the flames at a home on Princes Road in Dartford at 6.49pm after a deep fat fryer set alight.
The fryer was left unattended and spread to the hood of a cooker before crews arrived.
Two engines were in attendance and they used a fire bucket to extinguish the flames.
A man was treated for minor smoke inhalation by officers at the scene.
A high pressure fan was used to rid the home of any smoke.
Crews left the scene at 7.04pm.
