Firefighters were called to a vehicle alight on the A2.

Crews attended the London-bound carriageway near Bean, Dartford earlier this evening.

Two fire engines attended shortly after 5.30pm and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using hose reel jets.

No injuries were reported and duty of care was left with the highways agency.

The cause is thought to be accidental.
