Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in a large field of corn near Dartford.
Crews were called just after 4pm after the field near Bean Lane, Bean, was spotted on fire.
Five fire engines were sent to the scene, and around 25 firefighters battled the blaze.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said crews worked hard in very hot conditions to quickly bring the blaze under control, using hose reels, flexi packs, beaters and a fire fogging unit.
They left the scene just before 5.30pm.
