Fire crews were called to yet another heathland blaze - the latest in a series of suspected arson attacks.
Two fire engines were sent to Dartford Heath shortly before 9pm yesterday.
Firefighters arrived to find undergrowth alight which had spread to an area of around 60 square metres.
Crews used fire beaters, portable water tanks and a fogging unit to fight back the flames and managed to declare the incident safe shortly before 9.30pm.
No casualties were reported.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
It comes after Dartford council issued an urgent safety plea and declared the blazes "a health risk" following a spate of recent fires.
Last month crews were summoned to a large blaze in which 300 square metres of land was found alight .
Police are investigating and are encouraging anyone with information to call 101.
In cases of an emergency, please dial 999 and ask for the fire brigade.
