Firefighters were called to a blaze involving a large amount of hay bales.
The fire started at around 1.30pm on Wednesday (July 19) in Highlands Hill, Swanley.
Four fire engines were sent and as of that evening two remained in attendance.
In an update at 9pm, a fire service spokesman said: “Crews are continuing to dampen down remaining hotspots and are making good progress.
“People living or working nearby are advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke coming from the incident.
“Please share this update with any loved ones in the affected area who might not have access to social media or the internet. Thank you.”
No injuries have been reported.
The fire was out by Thursday, July 20. In an update at 10.40am, a spokesman said: “A fire involving hay bales in Highlands Hill, Swanley, is now out and crews have left the scene.
“People living or working nearby are no longer advised keep windows and doors closed.”
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
