Five people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Greenhithe - including the man who got shot.
A 31-year-old man sustained an arm injury following an incident in Cooper Close at around 7.45pm on Sunday evening.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old man from Greenhithe and a 41-year-old man from south east London yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder. Both remain in custody.
The victim, who is from Essex, sustained injuries to his arm and remains at a London hospital in a stable condition.
He has also been arrested as part of the investigation.
Officers conducting further inquiries arrested a 35-year-old man from Crayford yesterday afternoon on suspicion of possessing a firearm. He remains in custody.
A 25-year-old woman, from Greenhithe, was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been released, pending further inquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Gavin Moss, said: "We are continuing to progress with our enquiries and have already spoken to a number of witnesses.
"We do however remain keen to hear from anyone who has information that might be able to assist us."
