Firefighters took 12 hours to tackle a blaze involving five cars at a commercial premises.
Crews were called at 9.47pm to the fire in Princes Road, Dartford.
Four engines and a bulk water carrier attended and crews wore breathing apparatus as they tackled the flames.
By 11.20pm three engines remained at the scene and the advice to surrounding residents to close their windows was lifted.
Crews remained there to dampen any hot spots.
At 9.30am today the fire was said to be out and one engine and its crew remained to make the scene safe.
No injuries were reported and no cause was found but an investigation is under way.
