Dartford are still in the FA Cup after Jacob Erskine’s second-half strike earned his side a fourth qualifying round replay against Forest Green Rovers.
The Blue Square Bet Premier rivals are separated by just one point in the league and there was nothing to choose between them at the New Lawn on Saturday.
James Norwood gave Forest Green an early lead when his 25-yard strike flew past returning Dartford goalkeeper Louis Wells.
The visitors responded well, though, and Tom Bonner saw an effort fly just over before Lee Noble had his shot saved by Sam Russell in the home goal.
Shortly after half-time, the Darts drew level when Ryan Hayes crossed for Erskine, pictured, to equalise. Norwood, Eddie Oshodi and substitute Reece Styche all went close for Forest Green but Noble could have sent Dartford through in the dying stages but his shot rolled agonisingly wide.
The winners of Tuesday’s replay at Princes Park will host Port Vale in the first round proper.
